A STORY OF FLAVORS AND CULTURE

“Bondamanjak” takes its name from the famous Caribbean chili pepper,
also known as the Habanero, one of the spiciest peppers in the world. This
choice is no coincidence: it symbolizes power, intensity, and the ability to face
challenges with boldness—qualities shared by the women of the Caribbean
and French Guiana. Beyond its culinary inspiration, Bisso has incorporated elements of madras fabric, emblematic of West-Indies and Guyanese cultures. This colorful
fabric, often worn during traditional celebrations, embodies joy, cultural
identity, and the passing down of knowledge from generation to generation.

Every detail of the Saucony Shadow 5000 “Bondamanjak” was designed to reflect
the essence of Caribbean culture: 

- Color Palette: Vibrant shades representing the different stages of the Bondamanjak chili’s ripening process, ranging from green to yellow and from orange to deep red.
- Premium Materials: A combination of suede, perforated suede, and smooth leather for an elegant and durable finish.
- Unique Madras Print: Each pair features a madras pattern applied randomly, ensuring exclusivity and uniqueness for every model.

- Embroidered SB (Selecta Bisso) logo on the heel and tongue.
