The 9060 is a new expression of the refined style and innovative design that has made some models in the 99X series among the most iconic in New Balance history. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements from classic 99X models, drawing inspiration from the futuristic, visually striking tech aesthetic of the Y2K era. The sway bars, taken from the 990, are extended and used throughout the upper to convey visible motion, while the wavy lines and scaled-down proportions on the sculpted pod midsole accentuate the familiar cushioning systems of ABZORB and SBS.
