Nike Air VaporMax
After seven years of development from ideation to release, the Air VaporMax represents a new era of innovation from Nike. To give the wearer the feeling of running on air, designers re-engineered the Air unit and attached it directly to the upper. When the foot lands, the individual lugs are pushed into the Air unit, increasing pressure. As the foot pushes off, the pressure is released. The result is a springy ride with premium flexibility. The futuristic technology was originally developed for running, but quickly made its way to the streets, bringing this floating sensation to everyone.
